fresh grounds
some posts ago I talked about moneization and how I was going to build adlibrary.com fresh from the get go, which I did! See details about it here
It's fairly simple - End of last years December I decided I was going to redo the whole thing.
I was stuck at 2 major problem which made me procrastinate selling.
-> I knew the product was shit and didn't actually solve a problem
-> I went back and forth on how to properly find a schema that fits all of the different libraries
So, I started fresh and could also build it in that premium look that I always was after.
Finished the build in the second week of January.
Then launch phase - reinstalled Instagram, posted a story, lost 5 followers immediately. lol
Got a few signups and then leaned in on the core SEO engine for adlibrary.
Different goal. I just realized something important - Europeans don't buy into a vision like Americans and nowadays, eventhough you can build pretty comprehensive MVPs, at the current pace you need complete products and not just MVPs. And it's easily possible with claude code.
Don't get me wrong - MVPs are great, but don't build a mediocre MVP and try to sell it.
Rather build a simple landing page, run ads, sell the idea and a "waiting list for early access" - to validate, then build from that feedback.
